Introduction- Short And Sweet
03.17.06 (9:46 am) [edit]I'm making a quick entry before I have to get online as a means of introducing myself to you, the public. I'm feeling extremely talkitive today, so this may turn into more of an entry than I expect it to be. Anyway, hi, my name is Leanna, but most who know me call me Lea. I am eighteen, soon to be nineteen in June, and live in a small town located in Ontario, Canada. I have seven brothers and two sisters, which of most are grown and have children of their own. I am the second youngest, meaning I have a brother younger than myself. (He is ten, if that matters much). As of right now, I am a Journalist's Assistant working for a local newspaper. However, even with the love of my job, I still plan on obtaining a part-time job at a local grocery mart in order to earn money before I head off to college in September to study Print Journalism for two years. My job right now will definitely not pay my bills. With that, I do enjoy to write. Mainly short stories, but I believe I also excel in essay's and monologues. I have had a few short stories, two articles, and some poetry published. I am working on a short story right now and hope to have it done soon. Also, I started my novel too, so I plan on finishing that in a year or so. I haven't exactly set deadlines for myself, so I work to my own accord. Personality-wise, I think I'm a kind person, but I am also blunt and very honest to the point where I can sometimes be downright rude. Most people are not accepting of this personality trait, so I have decided to tone the sarcasm down and be gentler with people. I do have a tendency to speak my mind, but I still keep those I care about in mind. I don't want to offend anyone and I certainly don't want to come off as degrading. Overall, I wouldn't say I'm an utterly exciting person. I can't say much about myself; there isn't much to tell, really. So, here's my entry.
